Kindergarten - 2nd Grade: The Littles

Kindergarten: Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Smith begins her second year with PCA but her 4th year in education. In her time away from the classroom she enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with her husband and children.

1st Grade: Ms. Sirmans

Mrs. Sirmans joins PCA this year with 10 years of educational experience. She has an AA in Early Childhood Development. She has experience teaching Pre-K, VPK, Kindergarten, and 7th grades. Outside the classroom Mrs. Sirmans enjoys traveling, eating great food, and shopping.

2nd Grade: Mrs. Shadd

Mrs. Shadd joins PCA this year as a 2nd grade teacher. She comes to us with paraprofessional experience and a special energy. When when isn't in the classroom she enjoys being crafty and going on shopping adventures.

Title 1: Mrs. Donaldson

Mrs. Donaldson has an MA in Educational Leadership and is a 30+ year teaching veteran. She is the former principal of Hampton Elementary. She enjoys working with students, traveling the world, reading, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.


Title I is a program that allows students who are experiencing academic difficulties in math and reading to receive extra, specialized attention during the school day. PCA is the only private school in Bradford county to have one on staff.

Academic Enrichment: PE/Art/Music Mrs. Denton

Mrs. Denton returns to PCA this year as our Enrichment coordinator. She has a bachelor's in Early Education and 24 years of educational experience. In her spare time she enjoys reading and coloring.

3rd Grade - 5th Grade: The Middles

Mrs. Molins: 3rd Grade

 

Mrs. Molina continues teaching 3rd grade at PCA. She has 18 years of educational experience under her belt, ranging from pre-K through 9th grade. Mrs. Molina has been a missionary to 9 countries around the world where she organized children's programs, discipled children and their families, and taught natives how to speak English. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family and working in music ministry at her local church.

Mrs. Molina's Amazon Wish List

Mrs. Qualls: 4th Grade

Mrs. Qualls returns home to PCA for her fourth year in the classroom. She completed her bachelors at Trinity College, Jacksonvile, and began teaching with PCA shortly after. Her favorite subject to teach is English. In her personal time, she enjoys singing, playing piano, trying new things, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Cleary: 5th Grade

Mrs. Cleary is a returning teacher to PCA. This year, she is leveling up from 2nd to 5th grade. When she can, she enjoys reading, lazy lake days, and spending time with friends and family.


 "What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?" Romans 8:31

6th - 12th Grade: Upper Division

Mrs. Hodges: 6th Grade

Mrs. Hodges continues at PCA teaching 6th grade, with strong background in early childhood education. A new feature at PCA, 6th grade is a self-contained class with all the best of both worlds (elementary fun with middle school privileges and rigor). Her favorite subject to teach is science and finds great joy in turning any lesson into a hands-on experience. Beyond the classroom you'll find her spending time with family and relaxing by the lake.

Mrs. Manning: ELA/English Language Arts

Mrs. Manning is a founding member of PCA. She earned a BA and continues to teach English/Language Arts for the seventh year. Her favorite things to teach are the novels "Treasure Island" and "A Christmas Carol." In her time outside the classroom, she enjoys coffee, traveling, reading, and learning new things. Mrs. Manning also serves as a member of our Admin Team.

Mr. Massey: History & Social Studies

Mr. Massey has worked in education for the last 10+ years, and is a founding member of PCA. With an AA in Education working toward his bachelor's, Mr. Massey teaches history and social studies to the upper division. When not teaching, he enjoys reading (historical documents, comics, fantasy, sci-fi...), playing video games, trying new foods, and making memories with his wife.

Ms. Kenli: Math

Ms. Kenli returns to PCA as the new Upper Division Math teacher. She has complete her AA and is working toward her BA in Education. Her hobbies include reading, singing, and horseback riding.

Chaplin Porter: Bible

Chaplain Porter brings his experience working with youth and the community back into the classroom as he continues teaching at PCA. His favorite thing to teach is TRUTH - the truth that can only come from the Word of God. He has worked in youth ministry, adult discipleship, and pastored churches throughout the years. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in Biblical Studies with a major in Pastoral Studies. He has been a licensed and ordained minister since 1997. In his off time he can be found playing guitar and fixing things that are broken or worn. His favorite thing is spending time with his family: his wife, children, and 9 grandchildren.

Mrs. Buchanan

Mrs. Buchanan returns to PCA to continue teaching Upper Division Science and is no stranger to education with 23 years of experience. Her favorite subject to teach is art. When she is not in the classroom she enjoys arts & crafts, cooking, spending time with her grandkids, or wandering through the woods.

Mrs. Harrison: Student Success

Mrs. Harrison brings 25+ years of educational experience to PCA with 10 years of administrative wisdom. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and Bible. This year she is continuing in her capacity as Upper Division Student Success - working with students to help them develop tools to become better students. In her off time can be found at the beach, working outside, crocheting, decorating, organizing, and spending time with family; but it is usually some combination of the above!

Mrs. Kirkland has earned an AA in Early Education and has taught  at PCA since our beginning. She has 20+ years experience working in education. Beyond the walls of PCA she enjoys memory-making with her family on mini-adventures, both near and far especially if they are on or near the water.

 Mrs. Johns is back in the office after a year in the classroom. She has been a constant presence at PCA for the past 4 years. When she isn't keeping PCA organized or working on her MA, she enjoys time with her family, Cardinals Baseball, travel, and trying new coffee.

Mr.s Broome has worked with PCA for the last 5 years. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting and creating floral arrangements.
